Strawberry Girl

I caught this picture of  a very glamorous looking model backstage somewhere. She is wearing a  strawberry mullet dress by Elisa Heinesen. Whilst there are several pictues of this dress, I think this one offers a different angle to the usual styling on this blog so here is "Strawberry Girl"

A small collection is taking shape in the Elisa Heinesen Studio. The ethos of the collection is freedom from trends, mass production and strategy. It is simply fashion for a women that makes no bones about it. Fashion for Fashion. Functional Aesthetic.

Faroese Girl

This series of images was shot on location in the Faroe Islands, where nature competes on a equal level with the model. Quirky beauty and faroese model of the moment Juanita was selected for the shoot which shows fashion pieces from past collections combined with the new. The result is a series of images that show the fragility of beauty against the brutality of nature. Volume II soon!!

EH Showpieces at Freemasons Hall

Elisa Heinesen especially commisioned Showpiece Collection for Sanrizz took to the stage at the Grand Temple, Freemasons Hall on Sunday.

The collection had strong erotic undertones with underwear as outerwear, shades of nude against the different textures in the accessories, using feathers, studs, fringes and jewels. The highlight of the collection were the carefully constructed handmade masks with various portraits hand drawn to add a face to each fringed mask.

Tragedy

Masks as shown on stage at the Freemasons Hall on Sunday. The masks were hand made and drawn freehand from pictures of models. Half way during the show the models took the masks off and due to a error in communication members of the audience helped themselves to the masks that were on the floor. Sadly all but one reamins, however the press managed to capture some images of the masks before they were whisked off out of the building.

The Telegraph guessed the face on the masks to be the one of
Lady Gaga, but it is in fact model Lara Stone.
